In Google... the word that kept popping up to my eye was "Lucid dreaming" ..  My first thought was... "No matter how lucid your dream is, If its only inside your head then its not an interraction ,

Wikipedia does not yet have a definition of  " interactive dreaming".  The term  seems to have been coined at a time when gamers  moved off their N64s. playstations and various other "plug into the TV" consoles . And moved onto the web  where they could interact with other people in their role playing games.

When I first started to wander around in virtual worlds. It felt like I was walking around in other peoples dreams. And then there is the newborn Artifical Intellegnce having dreams of its own, (Click links to Robot dreams)

I tried to look up a definition of "interactive dreaming",but to my surprise nothing really came up. In Google... there were a few businesses of the name. A word that kept popping up to my eye was "Lucid dreaming",a term that means dreaming while your awake. My first thought was... No matter how lucid your dream is, If its only inside your head then its not an interaction. Also important is also the interaction with the computer,

Even Wikipedia does not yet have a definition of " interactive dreaming".It did have a list of examples where the term was used and it seems to have been coined around the 1990s. A time when gamers moved off their N64s. playstations and various other "plug into the TV" consoles . And moved onto the web where they could interact with other people in their role playing games.

The other important part of the experience is our interaction with computers and the web.The idea that a machine has a kind of sentience and can dream has been explored for around 100 years in science fiction. From original stories like Issac Asimov's Robot series. who came up with the three laws of Robotics. The concept of sentient machines has been explored  more in many Scifi series like, Dr Who, Star Trek,Terminator, Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy. Today  the concept of intelegent machine are coming reality. there have been stories and reports of artificial intelligence (AI) and that the Google search machine is developing a sub conscious that can dream. (click " Dream Robot" link to read more about it on Gizmodo.) If that is actually whats happening though. I couldn't say. In the Azimov books. As soon as the robot began to dream they "deactivated" it. I cant see that happening to google (Click "Robot dreams")
